 Three nationally respected health care experts will discuss the fiscal policy implications of the political decisions we make in planning and implementing the next steps for health care reform. Media will have the opportunity to interview panelists immediately following the panel discussion. The session is part of a conference hosted by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, The Century Foundation, Demos and the Economic Policy Institute on America’s Fiscal Choices: Strengthening Our Economy and Building for the Future, on Tuesday, October 5, at the Newseum in Washington, DC.  The conference will bring together economists and policy experts for an important discussion about federal budget priorities and how to build a prosperous future for the United States and the American people. Nobel Laureates Paul Krugman and Martin Feldstein, Goldman Sachs Chief Economist Jan Hatzius, former Congressional Budget Office Director Robert Reischauer, and former Comptroller General David Walker are among the conference panelists.

 The entire conference is open to journalists and each presentation will be followed by media availability with the panelists.
