Over at The Health Care Blog Lisa Gaultieri, an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Health Communication Program at Tufts University School of Medicine observes that, too often, the computer becomes a barrier between the clinician and the patient. thats a good title but these 3 are the best and worst in most of the cases. hee hee ehee. Its not only the computer. sometimes the doctor too become the barrier.
this odd!
technology (computer) should be more of help to the people.
thanks for sharing it.
I hear this all the time. Sometimes things become so systematized that the patient is taken out of the equation altogether. Some new devices like Cardiac Outpatient Telemetry that utilizes mobile technology relieve any kind of necessary conversation btwn staff and patient.
